PARK PERMITS AND RENTALS
Saint Paul is home to one of the finest park systems in the country and features the most well-kept and beautiful hiking trails, sports facilities, woods, and picnic areas in the world. From "The Jewel of Saint Paul," Como Regional Park, to the 2,000 year old burial sites at Indian Mounds Regional Park, Saint Paul has something for everyone. No doubt, the historic city is well on its way to becoming the most livable city in America.
The 2015 Picnic Season runs May 2nd through October 4, 2015
You can self-permit shelters online by clicking here. Note that pavilion, building and downtown parks must be reserved by calling the permit office.
Reservations need to be made a minimum of
seven business days in advance.
Permits are issued and allowed for summer Holidays.
Reservations for shelters can be made online.

FOSSIL HUNTING/ICE CLIMBING:
We are not issuing permits at this time for the 2014-2015 season for fossil hunting or ice climbing at Lilydale Regional Park. Please check this page for updates, or call the Park Permit Office. [last updated 1.5.15]
*The footbridge near the Como Streetcar Station will be under construction through July 2015. We currently are NOT TAKING RESERVATIONS for the Como Streetcar Station due to the construction.
*Lilydale road reopened December 1, 2014, however the trails will remain closed until Spring 2015. For full updates please visit this page.

Picnic Reservation Hours:
AM Session: 7:30am to 2:00pm
PM Session: 3:30pm to 9:30pm
All Day: 7:30am to 9:30pm
Organizations claiming tax exempt status* must submit a completed ST3 form prior to making a reservation.
All Insurance Certificates must be submitted to Saint Paul Parks and Recreation no later than 15 business days prior to the event. Failure to do so will result in event being canceled. Insurance is required for all inflatables and no dunk tanks are allowed in parks.
*This tax exempt number must be issued by the State of MN and not by the IRS Department of Treasury.

Note: Reserved parking spaces are not permitted in our parks; all parking is general and on a first come, first served basis.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds will be issued if request is made less than 30-days prior to the event date. Permits under $150.00 will not receive a refund. Permits over $150.00 will receive 50% of the permit fee paid.
