Central Corridor Development Planning & Strategy
Overview
The Central Corridor Development Strategy addresses the related land use, economic, and social development impacts that may result from the investment in LRT.
The Strategy helps frame dozens of individual decisions that will be made in the Corridor over the next decade. It will guide public and private decisions.
The full text of the Strategy is below, or

of the Central Corridor Development Strategy.
Central Corridor Development Planning Track
The Central Corridor Development Planning Track created a vision and development strategy for the Central Corridor in Saint Paul that was adopted as part of the City's Comprehensive Plan. This track also addresses detailed
station area planning
for the Corridor. This track will not address the planning and construction of the LRT line.
Central Corridor Development Strategy
Two task forces, the University Avenue Central Corridor Task Force and the Capitol / Downtown Central Corridor Task Force were appointed by the Planning Commission to develop the Central Corridor Development Strategy.
The University Avenue Central Corridor Task Force developed the recommendations for the Central Corridor along University Avenue.
The Capitol / Downtown Central Corridor Task Force developed recommended amendments to existing downtown and Capitol Area plans to take best advantage of the opportunities this major public investment offers.
The Central Corridor Planning Task forces were representative of area residents and businesses in the Corridor. They were committed to engaging the community in an inclusive process.
The Central Corridor Development Strategy (CCDS) addresses the related land use, economic and social development impacts that may result from the investment in LRT. The CCDS will frame dozens of individual decisions that will be made in the Corridor over the next decade. Furthermore, it will guide public and private decisions. Below is a final Adopted Central Corridor Development Strategy.
