Saint Paul Park Security is committed to serving park patrons by ensuring the safe and peaceful use of parks for all, protecting park property & facilities by education and fair courteous enforcement of Park Rules and Regulations

Saint Paul Park Security Officers are tasked with providing a secure and safe environment for park visitors and staff. In meeting this goal Park Security Officers actively patrol the 170 Saint Paul City parks containing over 4500 acres of parkland.

Park Security Officers strive to be a friendly presence at our many recreation centers and facilities.Park Security Officers assist park patrons and staff with many of the following situations:

· Finding lost children
· Directional information
· Responding to alarms at division facilities
· Securing and opening gates, doors and restrooms
· Routine patrol of park areas and facilities
· Special event detail· 
· Traffic control
· Addressing hostile encounters
· Enforcing park rules and regulations
· Issue citations when necessary

Park Security Officers are equipped with state of the art 8oo mhz radios which allow them to communicate directly with Saint Paul Police and dispatch in the event that police, fire or medics are needed. As ambassadors of Saint Paul Parks, Our Officers look forward to their contact with the general public on a daily basis. Officers are prepared and happy to offer any and all types of assistance to the thousands of patrons who visit Saint Paul parks.
